Piano Virtuoso Igor Ryabov

 

 

    Igor Riabov is a musician who has his personal view on the music he plays, and who professionally interprets styles of different periods and genres. His individuality can be clearly seen in miniatures as well as in larger pieces of music. His ability to develop several lines simultaneously helps him to identify the diversity of drama in each music piece. In his play he combines the spontaneity of creative solutions with subtle musical taste.

 

    Igor Riabov began his education in M. V. Lysenko Kiyv Specialized Secondary Music boarding school in the class of Irina Lipatova. He finished the school in the class of Professor, Honoured arts worker of Ukraine, Igor Mykhailovich Riabov.

 

    During his education Igor often gives concerts in the cities of Ukraine and abroad. He performs as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensembles in Bulgaria, Russia and the United States, as well as with symphony orchestras in Ukraine.

 

      Enrolled in the P. I. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy (Kyiv Conservatoire) in 2004 Igor continued his studies in the class of associate professor Sergey Ihorovich Riabov. During this time he attended workshops of such professors as Irina Morozova (USA)

2007 - Igor Riabov teaches at M. V. Lysenko Kiyv Specialized Secondary Music boarding school;

 

2009 - Igor graduates Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine and gets master’s degree diploma with honors;

 

2009 - Igor becomes the winner of the international contest "Cidadeo de Fundao» in Portugal (3rd prize);

 

2012 - Piano ensemble (Igor Riabov & Natalia Korotina) wins the 1st prize at the Third International contest of piano ensembles n.a. S. V. Rachmaninov (S. Rachmaninov estate-museum, ‘Ivanovka’, Russia);

 

2013 - Igor graduates the master class (post graduate training program) in Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine;

 

2013 - Igor gets the 2nd prize and a special prize for the best performance of S. Rachmaninov at the Second International Piano Competition ‘Great Teachers’ (Kyustendil, Bulgaria);

 

2014 - Igor teaches at Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (Kyiv Conservatory);

 

2015 - under the brand name "Vox Coelestis" comes first solo album Igor, with works by Bach, Ziloti, Bach-Liszt, Rachmaninoff and Scriabin;

2015 - he holds a fastival "Dadication to the master" in memory of I. M. Riabov, which was attended by leading musicians of Ukraine;

2016 - Igor with Mykita Sierov (oboe, Germany) organized "Duo inspirazione" which toured in Germany, Republik of Belarus and Ukraine;

2016 - he wrote down Max Reger cycles "Traùme am Kamin" and 4 Special studies for left hand alone for the CD devoted to Max Reger (Waimar, Germany);

2017 - Igor defends a thesis "Performing type as phenomenon of piano culture at the turn of XX and XXI centuries (on materials of the International competition for young pianists in memory of V. Horowitz)" and become Ph.D. in History of Arts;

2018 - Igor's recordings are available in online stores: amazon.com, iTunes, Google play, etc;

2019 - Igor gets an assistant professor position in National Music Academy of Ukraine;

2020 - for the anniversary of L. van Beethoven he prepared a cycle "32 sonatas for piano";

2020 - received the medal "For service to art" from the all-Ukrainian public organization "Kraina".

     Igor continues to give concerts in different music halls in Ukraine and all over the world:National Philarmonic of Ukraine (Kiev), the National House of Organ and Chamber Music of Ukraine (Kiev), the concert hall of Lucy Moses School (New York), Merkin Concert Hall (New York), Glazunov Hall of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory (Russia), the Concert Hall of the Rhodes Island (Greece), the Small Hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic (Minsk), the Great Hall of the Belarusian State Academy of Music (Minsk), Moazhen Hall (Fundao, Portugal), the House Museum Pancho Vladigerov (Sofia, Bulgaria).
